Geoffrey Reilinger has spent three decades starting, running and growing businesses in Boston, from a venture-backed startup to a candy company to the businesses he runs today. Coming up with new solutions to everyday problems is what drives him in his current and prospective ventures, and it has been a reason for his success.
He founded and owns Scrubs Laundry in Chelsea, a laundromat with more than 100 machines and a commercial laundry operation. At its peak, Scrubs washed the towels for a nine-location YMCA chain, over 1.2 million towels a year. In 2024 he opened Clarity Tattoo Removal in Davis Square, Somerville, added a second studio in Framingham in 2026, and is opening a third in the Attleboro area in Q1 of next year.
Before that, Geoffrey built a career across operations, real estate and consumer products. He was a founding employee and VP of Administration at JuniorNet, a venture-backed children’s online service that raised more than $80 million and grew to 135 people. He later ran operations as COO of Digi-Block and founded Reilinger Property Companies, the commercial real estate firm he still runs, where he has negotiated transactions of up to $150 million. From 2009 to 2015 he ran the Real Magic Potion Co., a company he built around an innovative and magical candy product.
Geoffrey holds an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College and a BA from Boston University.
“I’m driven by my passion and three guiding principles: I try my hardest at all I do, I never give up, and I try to be nice to others. Practicing these three things as best I can has resulted in a story-filled life.”
